Shutdown is GOP’s fault

Whose shutdown? The House of Representatives (Democrat-controlled) passed several bills to fund the government and end the shutdown. Until and unless Sen. Mitch McConnell allows the Senate to vote on these bills, it is a GOP shutdown, plain and simple. If the president vetoes the bill, Congress can vote to override the veto.
