American snowboarder Chloe Kim added a world championship to her collection of titles, easily winning the women’s halfpipe contest in Park City, Utah. Kim, 18, is now the reigning world, X Games and Olympic champion.

Wendy Holdener retained her Alpine combined title at the skiing world championships in Are, Sweden, by beating Petra Vlhova by 0.03 of a second. American skier Mikaela Shiffrin did not compete (rest).
