nominated to the 1-mile event on the main track. Trainer Jerry Hollendorf­er nominated Choo Choo and Grecian Fire, who ran 3-5 in

the Grade 3 San Francisco Mile on grass April 27. Other nominees include More Power to Him and Gabo’s Macondo, who ran 1-2 a nose

apart for a $62,500 claiming price on grass May 4, and Oakland Stakes winner Touched by Autism. … Fabriana, who won two straight $4,000 starter allowances after being claimed by trainer John F. Martin, and Mommy Rose,

who has four wins and a second in her past five starts, meet in Thursday’s fourth race. The 1-mile grass race is an $8,000 starter allowance. … Alta Ky scored the biggest upset of the winter-spring season when she rallied from last place to win Sunday’s ninth race by a neck at odds of 124-1. Alta Ky had finished seventh twice and fifth in three starts since arriving from now-closed Portland Meadows.

Elsewhere: Entries close Friday for three Grade 1, $500,000 races Monday at Santa Anita. Vasilika, who has won 11 of 13 starts for $909,528 in earnings since Hollendorf­er claimed her Feb. 11, 2018, for $40,000, will head the field for the Gamely Stakes. … Gift Box, who won the San Antonio Stakes and Santa Anita Handicap after being sent from New York to trainer John Sadler, will be favored in the Gold Cup.
