This is worth a ‘Rye’ smile

-

Longtime J.D. Salinger publisher Little, Brown and Co. said all four of the late author’s works, including “The Catcher

in the Rye,” will be made available as e-books Tuesday, marking the first time that the entirety of his published work will be available in digital format. His son, Matt Salinger, said the digital holdout ended because many readers use e-books exclusively and some people with disabilities can use only them. The other titles available are “Nine Stories,” “Franny and Zooey,” and “Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour: An Introduction.”
