1 Trump tax returns: New York City prosecutors have subpoenaed President Trump’s tax returns, a person familiar with the matter said on Monday. Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.’s office recently sent a subpoena to Trump’s accounting firm seeking the past eight years of state and federal tax returns for Trump and his company, the Trump Organization, according to the person who was not authorized to speak publicly about the matter. Vance, a Democrat, subpoenaed the Trump Organization last month for records related to payments former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen helped arrange to the porn actress Stormy Daniels after she claimed she had an affair with Trump. Cohen, who made one of the payments himself and arranged for American Media Inc., the parent company of the National Enquirer, to pay the other, pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations, tax evasion and other crimes and is serving a threeyear sentence.

2 Prison riots: All Oklahoma prisons were locked down after several inmate fights caused one inmate death and more than a dozen injuries. The Oklahoma Department of Corrections says fights broke out Saturday at the Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center in Vinita and on Sunday at prisons in Hominy, Sayre, Fort Supply, Lawton and Stringtown. The department says one inmate died at the mediumsecurity Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy, about 90 miles northeast of Oklahoma City, and more than a dozen inmates were taken to hospitals with injuries that aren’t considered lifethreatening.

3 Forced sex: The first sexual experience for 1 in 16 U.S. women was forced or coerced intercourse in their early teens, encounters that for some may have had lasting health repercussions, a study suggests. The experiences amount to rape, the authors say, although they relied on a national survey that didn’t use the word in asking women about forced sex. Almost 7% of women surveyed said their first sexual intercourse experience was involuntary; it happened at age 15 on average and the man was often several years older. Almost half of those women who said intercourse was involuntary said they were held down and slightly more than half of them said they were verbally pressured to have sex against their will. The results were published Monday in the Chicagobased JAMA Internal Medicine. 4 Defying subpoenas: The White House has instructed two former aides to President Trump not to appear at a House Judiciary Committee hearing Tuesday, saying Rick Dearborn and Rob Porter are “absolutely immune” from testifying to determine whether to recommend Trump’s impeachment for obstruction of justice and abuse of power. Democrats are challenging the claims of “constitutional immunity” in a lawsuit against former White House counsel Don McGahn.
