Move forward together

President Trump is not one of my favorite people and has committed what many would say are unacceptable acts against our political system. Having said that, my overwhelming belief is our constitutional democracy came through the Nov. 3 presidential election in great shape. In excess of 80 million voters reaffirmed their belief in our very flawed democracy.

There will no doubt be future political candidates testing our will and attempting to exploit and undermine constitution intent. We can and must do a much better job of informing all Americans of how our constitutional democracy is far superior to other more authoritarian governments.

Our freedoms will not continue without continuous attention to keeping Americans informed of what we stand for. We still have much to do in order to achieve a more perfect union. Because of the personal freedoms we enjoy we can and must continue to work toward that objective.
