Danielle Kang: The 28- year- old is ranked fourth in the world after winning the first two events ( Drive On Championsh­ip and Marathon Classic) following the LPGA Tour’s coronaviru­s shutdown. Born in San Francisco and raised in Southern California, Kang won her lone major at the Women’s PGA Championsh­ip in 2017. Her best U. S. Women’s Open finish is fourth ( 2018). She ranks third on the money list ($ 867,465) and has more than $ 6 million in earnings since joining the tour in 2012.

Yealimi Noh: The 19- year- old from Concord is coming off a tie for second at the Volunteers of America Classic in Texas. Noh, who attended Carondelet High and turned pro at age 17, is 44th in the world rankings and 21st on the money list ($ 373,569). The tour rookie ranks fourth in eagles this season ( 10).

Andrea Lee: The Stanford alum, who turned pro in November 2019, recorded her top finish at the Marathon Classic in August ( tied for fifth). The former top- ranked amateur, who competed in her first U. S. Open in 2014, is 115th in the world rankings, 36th on the money list ($ 236,138) and 11th in driver accuracy ( 80.31%).

Mina Harigae: The Monterey native has 13 career top 10s, but the 31- year- old is still searching for her first victory. Harigae is a three- time junior All- American, four- time winner of the California Amateur Championsh­ip, winner of the U. S. Women’s Public Links ( 2007) and earned three wins on the Symetra Tour ( the LPGA’s feeder circuit) to earn her LPGA Tour card in 2010. The Duke alum, who hasn’t played in the U. S. Open since 2015, is 118th in the world rankings and 51st on the money list ($ 198,137).

Rose Zhang: The 17- year- old Stanford commit won the 2020 U. S. Women’s Amateur to qualify for the U. S. Open. Zhang, an Irvine native, is the world’s top- ranked amateur and finished 11th at this year’s ANA Inspiratio­n.
