Elizabetta (Betty) Amelia Graziani Cirelli, born to parents Gino and Clorinda Graziani on July 19, 1932, passed away at the age of 88, from a stroke on March 8, 2021. For the last 4 years she resided at Sunrise of Walnut Creek. Perviously, she was a resident of the San Francisco Mission District for 84 years, graduated from St. Peter Academy in 1950, married her husband Gino Cirelli in 1952. Betty was a devout Catholic. When Gino passed away in 1979, she returned to St Peter’s where she worked for 40 years as a teacher’s aide, bookkeeper, volunteer, and Eucharisti­c minister. Betty was a devoted caregiver to her husband, parents and grandparen­ts, and a loving wife, mother and Nonni. She enjoyed dancing, vacationin­g in Lake Tahoe, sweet treats, and her Italian heritage. Betty is survived by her son Gene, daughter-in-law Denise, beloved grandchild­ren Matthew Cirelli, Michelle Cirelli, and Danica (Scott) Hutchins, her two precious great granddaugh­ters Heatley and Haven Hutchins, her brother-in-law Tony Espinal, her cousins Joyce Nuti, Bruna Campus and Frank Gregori and their families, as well as too many nieces and nephews in the Cirelli, Espinal, Aguerre, Venuti, Massey, Vigna and Kasper families to mention by name. Betty is predecease­d by her husband, parents, beloved sister Amelia (Dolly) Espinal, her brothers and sisters-in-law, and two of her nephews. Private family services will be held at the Italian Cemetery, and a Celebratio­n of Life will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Peters School, 1266 Florida St, San Francisco, 94110, or a charity of your choice.
