Where masks still will be required

People who are fully vaccinated must continue to wear masks:

⏩ On public transit, including BART trains, buses, airplanes, taxis and ferries, and in transportation hubs like airports.

⏩ Indoors at all K-12 schools, child care facilities and other youth settings. This guidance may change with updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

⏩ In health care settings, including nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.

⏩ At state and local correctional facilities.

⏩ In shelters, including homeless shelters, cooling centers and emergency shelters.
