Marie Domenica Antone, mother to four, grandmother to six, and great-grandmother to eight, passed away on June 4 at 91 years old. She was born in Casarza Ligure, a small town outside of Genoa, Italy. She was the oldest daughter of Lorenzo Zolezzi and Virginia Stagnaro. Marie had a younger sister, Elvia (Anto, deceased), and brother, Giacomo (deceased).

She was the happiest when all of her children and grandchildren were together. She is survived by her four children Anna, Leo (Jeanine), Rita (Fred), and Theresa; six grandchildren Denise, Natalie, Vince, Dustin, Erin, and Rick; eight great grandchildren Michael, Miranda, Mario, Andrea, Marcus, Rosie, Russell, and Charley; two nephews Massimo and Roberto, and several cousins in Italy.

As we remember our Ma, Nonna, GrandNonna, and dear friend, we will keep hold of the wisdom and love of life that she gave to us all. To work hard, laugh often, and by all means -- live! We’ll miss her every day.
