Contrasting stories
Regarding “Reopening businesses face new challenges” (Front Page, June 28) and “S.F. teacher housing plan inches ahead” (Front Page, June 28): Your stories about companies returning to the office, and the story about the affordable housing plan for teachers offered quite the contrast.
Office workers want to be in the office a few days per week with maximum flexibility and safety. Teachers want a place to live close to their school communities, and didn’t want to return to work until COVID19 safety measures were in place, like the opportunity to be vaccinated and proper ventilation. Teachers received lots of criticism for wanting the same things that the office workers are now demanding. Lisa Wilson, Livermore
