How California voted on the recall by county

Early returns Tuesday night indicated a resounding rejection of the recall of Gov. Gavin Newsom. While the race is expected to tighten, votes in favor of Newsom remaining in office have created a lead unlikely to be overturned given the number of outstanding ballots.
