Revise the mask order

Regarding “Breed called out for not wearing mask at jazz club” (Front Page, Sept. 18): I don’t have much of a problem with Mayor London Breed being maskless at a nightclub. Vaccination is required to enter and she’s vaccinated, so the health risk seems relatively low. She’s an adult and should have the free will to decide how much risk is acceptable in her own life. Her conduct would be legal nearly everywhere in the United States. The problem, of course, is that her conduct is in violation in San Francisco per an order of her health department. The takeaway here should be that she and her health department should revise the orders and permit consenting adults to lawfully choose to accept relatively low risks to their health.
