September 21, 1944 - June 8, 2021

-

Roger was well liked by everyone he met. He was kind, generous and superbly witty, a true and thorough gentleman. It was always a pleasure to be in his company.

He had a long career in San Francisco, in recent years at Neiman Marcus where he had many good friends among coworkers and customers.

He was born in San Francisco and grew up in Southern California and on the SF Peninsula, graduating from South City High School in 1962.

Roger is predeceased by his parents, Ellen and Robert Baurmann, and sister Renee Baurmann.

Since childhood he loved gazing at the night sky and studying the stars. In addition to rocket science and astronomy he enjoyed books, music, cars, fine dining, and travels.

He is deeply mourned and missed by his wife Susan, children Stuart and Amelia (Peter), brother Gregory and grandson Miles.

A private family celebration has been held.

Rest in peace, beloved Roger.
