MILWAUKEE — Forward Draymond Green likely will miss the rest of the Warriors’ four-city trip, head coach Steve Kerr said after practice Wednesday afternoon.

“He’s not here,” Kerr said of Green, who has missed all but seven seconds of the past two games with left calf tightness. “He won’t be coming in for either of the next two games. I suppose there’s a chance he could come to Minnesota, but I would say it’s doubtful.

“Just the idea of flying across the country for only one game, he’s probably better served just getting work in. He definitely won’t play the next two, and he’s doubtful for Minnesota.”

The Warriors opened their trip with a 116-108 loss in Memphis on Tuesday. After playing a back-to-back in Milwaukee (Thursday) and Chicago (Friday), they visit Minnesota on Sunday before returning to San Francisco for a sevengame homestand.

Odds are that the soonest Green, 31, would come back is Tuesday’s game against Detroit at Chase Center. Whenever he does return, it’ll be a joyous occasion for the Warriors — not just because Green’s passing ability could help them snap out of their offensive funk, but because he’ll finally get to share a floor with Klay

Thompson again for more than a handful of seconds.

Thompson came back from a 941-day hiatus in Sunday’s win over Cleveland at Chase Center. Green, Thompson’s longtime teammate and friend, was so eager to play with Thompson again that he convinced Kerr to let him start the game after tweaking his calf during warm-ups. After being on the floor for tip-off, Green quickly fouled Cleveland guard Darius Garland and exited for good.
