Kings cool off Penguins

Los Angeles’ Trevor Moore broke a third-period tie with his second goal of the game and the Kings beat the Penguins 4-3 in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Los Angeles carried a 3-1 lead into the third period, but Pittsburgh tied it on two goals by Bryan Rust.

Moore said his team didn’t panic when the lead got away.

“The bench was positive,” Moore said. “We kept going, kept doing our thing. We didn’t change anything and I thought that would lead to success.”

Sidney Crosby scored his 498th career goal for the Penguins, whose eight-game point streak ended.
