Sabally, Ducks roll past Trojans

Nyara Sabally scored 23 points and No. 19 Oregon rolled to an 80-48 win over visiting USC on Sunday afternoon.

Endyia Rogers added 17 points for the Ducks (13-5, 6-1 Pac-12), winners of seven straight.

“I feel really good,” Oregon head coach Kelly Graves said. “I thought we put together a great performanc­e today, at both ends of the floor and in every phase, really.”

Jordyn Jenkins scored 16 points for the Trojans (9-9, 2-6).

Oregon State 72, UCLA 58: Talia von Oelhoffen scored 21 points and Taya Corosdale added 18 as the host Beavers (11-5, 4-2 Pac-12) beat the Bruins (9-6, 4-4). Dominique Onu and Natalie Chou had 13 points each to lead UCLA.

Washington St. 57, Washington 43: Charlisse Leger-Walker scored 19 points as the Cougars (13-6, 5-3 Pac-12) beat the host Huskies (5-9, 0-6), who got 17 points from Campolindo-Moraga alum Haley Van Dyke.

Utah 78, Colorado 67: Dasia Young scored 15 points to lead four Utes in double figures and host Utah (11-7, 2-4 Pac-12) beat the Buffaloes (14-5, 3-5). Mya Hollingshe­d had 28 points for Colorado.

#1 South Carolina 62, Florida 50: Aliyah Boston had 13 points and 19 rebounds as the visiting Gamecocks (20-1, 8-1 SEC) defeated the Gators (15-6, 5-3) for their eighth win in a row.

#3 N.C. State 66, North Carolina 58: Kai Crutchfiel­d scored 16 points and Elissa Cunane had 11 points and 12 rebounds for the visiting Wolfpack (19-2, 10-0 ACC) against the Tar Heels (16-4, 6-4).

#5 Louisville 77, #21 Duke 65: Hailey Van Lith scored eight of her 17 points in the fourth quarter to help the host Cardinals (18-2, 8-1 ACC) defeat the Blue Devils (13-6, 4-5).

#10 UConn 69, Providence 61: Christyn Williams scored 19 points and the visiting Huskies (13-4, 8-0 Big East) topped the Friars (9-11, 4-7). The game was to have been played in downtown Providence, R.I., but was moved on campus because of severe winter weather.

#12 LSU 78, Kentucky 69: Khayla Pointer scored 19 of her 28 points in the fourth quarter as the host Tigers (18-4, 6-3 SEC) beat the Wildcats (9-9, 2-6) for first-year LSU head coach Kim Mulkey her 650th career win.

#14 Georgia Tech 69, Clemson 62: Sarah Bates had 16 points to lead four Yellow Jackets in double figures and visiting Georgia Tech (17-4, 8-2 ACC) beat the Tigers (7-14, 1-9).

#15 Georgia 62, #24 Mississipp­i 52: Jenna Staiti had 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulldogs (16-4, 5-3 SEC), who beat the Rebels (17-4, 5-3) for a sixth straight time and improved to 8-1 on the road.

#17 Maryland 82, Penn State 71: Diamond Miller scored 19 points as the visiting Terrapins (15-6, 7-3 Big Ten) downed the Lions (9-11, 3-7).

#20 Notre Dame 74, Boston College 61: Olivia Miles had 30 points and the host Fighting Irish (16-4, 7-2 ACC) topped the Eagles (14-7, 5-5).

MEN

#6 Purdue 81, #16 Ohio State 78:

Jaden Ivey hit a tie-breaking 3-pointer with 0.6 of a second left to give the host Boilermake­rs (18-3, 7-3 Big Ten) a victory over the Buckeyes (13-5, 6-3). Purdue led by 52-32 with 14:35 left, but the Buckeyes tied it 78-78 on E.J. Liddell’s 3-pointer with 25.3 seconds to go.

#11 Wisconsin 66, Minnesota 60: Johnny Davis scored 16 points, including the final six of the game, to go with 15 rebounds as the host Badgers (17-3, 8-2 Big Ten) beat the Gophers (11-7, 2-7).

#17 Providence 65, #22 Marquette 63: Nate Watson’s three-point play in the final minute, part of his 17-point effort, helped the host Friars (18-2, 8-1 Big East) defeat the Golden Eagles (15-7, 7-4).
