EVS ASSEMBLED IN NORTH AMERICA
These 2022 and early 2023 models meet the assembly requirement and may be eligible for the EV tax credit if purchased in 2022. Many, if not most, will not qualify next year when other requirements take effect. Note that some models are assembled in multiple locations. Consumers can confirm the build location of a specific vehicle by looking at the window sticker or entering its vehicle identification number in the U.S. Department of Transportation’s online VIN decoder.
