Story line: The Bears end their season against the Bruins, who are bowl-bound but surely disappointed they won’t play in a higher-profile postseason game. Two weeks ago, UCLA had its eyes on the Pac-12 championship game and had an outside chance of reaching the College Football Playoff. Back-to-back home losses to Arizona (34-28) and USC (48-45) extinguished those hopes. For reasons much too convoluted to explain, Washington needs the Bears to win for the Huskies to have a shot at the Pac-12 title game.
