Bente Vanberg

February 18, 1954 - September 20, 2022

It is with a sense of tremendous loss and great sadness we announce the death of Bente Vicky Vanberg (San Francisco), who passed away unexpectedly and suddenly at the age of 68. Bente is survived by her husband, Ty Dana Robinson; her children Bjorn Andrew (Kaycee) and Ava Oceanna; and by beloved granddaughters Audrey and Eleanor. She is preceded in death by her parents Bent Jarl Vanberg and Bjorg Dorthe Baanrud of Norway and Minneapolis--Saint Paul.

Bente was adored and life changing as a high school special ed. teacher.

We thank you for your many kind words and condolences. There will be a private ceremony and memorial service soon to celebrate Bente’s Life. Following the private service, her ashes will be scattered at Point Reyes National Seashore, a place she loved.

All will miss her vibrant spirit, passionate advocacy, infectious smile and laughter.
