Man dies in East Bay solo motorcycle crash
A motorcyclist died Saturday night after crashing into a guardrail in the East Bay, authorities said.
The male victim was traveling southbound on Crockett Boulevard at about 10:19 p.m. when he collided with a guardrail just north of Cummings Skyway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim was ejected from the Ducati motorcycle he was riding, authorities said.
The speed at which he was traveling was not immediately available, and authorities were investigating whether alcohol or drugs were a factor.
The man, whose identity has not been released, died at the scene of the crash.
