Dorothy Whalen

Dorothy Jean Whalen (“Dee”) passed peacefully just a few days shy of her 96th birthday on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Arbol Residences in Santa Rosa. Dee was born in San Francisco and was the daughter of the late Anthony J. Whalen and Elsie D. (Feederle) Whalen. She is survived by many loving cousins.

Dee graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley. She worked for 26 years as the legal secretary for Marc D. Stolman. Often described as charming, Dee possessed a curious nature, a marvelous sense of humor and a generosity of spirit.
