Fred A. Raineri

Fred was born and raised in the Sunset District of San Francisco, son of the late Victor and Lillian Raineri. Fred graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969 and went on to get his Associates degree in Chemistry at City College of San Francisco. In 1972 he went to work for Ampex Corporatio­n as a research assistant where he met his future wife Margaret.

In 1979 he transition­ed to become a Systems Technician with AT&T where he would spend the next 33 years, until his retirement in 2012.

Fred had a great love of cars (especially Ford Mustangs), racing, woodworkin­g, gardening, houseboat trips to Lake Shasta, coffee with his work buddies, reading, and his daily walks.

Above all else he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Fred is survived by his wife Margaret of 48 years, son Eddie and daughter Andrea. Beloved little brother of Kathy Foran, Janet Fritsche and their families along with his Kelly in-laws, Tom, Paul (dec), John, Tim, Mary and Jimmy and their families.

Fred was a kind, and gentle soul who will truly be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Charitable donations in his memory can be made to St. Vincent de Paul, 50 N. B. Street, San Mateo, Ca. 94401 or a charity of your choice.

Memorial service will be held on Sat. Dec. 3, 2022 at 1pm. Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City, Ca.
