Mary Teresa Kenneally (née Kerrisk), dearly beloved wife of David (“Davey”), beloved mother of Brendan (Judy), and proud and loving Nana to Claire, Hannah, and Patrick passed away peacefully at her home in San Francisco, on January 20th with her loving family by her side.

Mary was born in Ranalough, Currow, County Kerry, Ireland, the first of ten children born to the late Hanna and Timothy (“Tady”) Kerrisk. She emigrated to San Francisco in April, 1956 where she met Davey, developed many long-lasting and cherished friendships, and began what would become a long and successful career at Bank of America. In 1959, Mary’s father wrote asking her to return home to help care for her siblings. Mary arrived just in time to be with him at his death and stayed for two years, until the family was settled, returning to San Francisco in 1961. In 1962, Mary married Davey Kenneally with whom she shared 60 happy years building a loving home and family and being deeply involved with their grandchildren.

Mary will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul, an incredible role model, and a devout woman of faith.

Mary is survived by her husband, Davey; her son, Brendan (Judy); grandchildren Claire, Hannah, and Patrick; and siblings Helen Leane (Sonny d.), Ann Dunne (Tom), Joe (Marian), Betty McElligott (Danny), Jerry, and Bridget West (Don). She is also survived by sisters-in-law Lena Kerrisk and Kathleen Kerrisk; brother-in-law, Sean Healy; many cherished friends, including Sheila McCarthy and Maureen Campos; and many nieces and nephews both here and abroad. She is predeceased by her parents, Tady and Hanna, sister, Joan, and brothers, Sean and Eugie.
