Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins practiced fully on Sunday and is probable for Monday's road game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Wiggins missed the Warriors' past two games because of a non-COVID illness. While keeping an eye on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game on a nearby screen, head coach Steve Kerr told reporters that Wiggins looked great in Sunday's scrimmage.

Kerr didn't give an update on the status of Andre Iguodala, who has missed seven straight games because of right hip soreness.

“It felt good,” Wiggins said of his performance Sunday. “Made some good plays, felt good out there.”

Wiggins missed 15 straight games from Dec. 5 to Jan. 4 because of a right adductor strain and another non-COVID illness. He explained the differences between this more recent affliction and the previous one.

“I was just sick for real,” he said. “All your regular cough symptoms, but I felt it a little more than usual. You know, just really couldn't play like that. I was off for a long time with the adductor injury. So just being out from this is kind of annoying, just not being out there for my team.”

Prior to his first inactive streak, Wiggins averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 22 games while shooting 51.1% from the field and 45% from 3point range.

However, Wiggins has averaged just 12.4 points while shooting 34% from the field and 22.7% from 3point range over his past seven appearances. He attempted to warm up before Friday's game against Toronto but was ruled out before tip-off.

The Warriors are 10-10 without Wiggins, but they did go 3-1 last week.

“When they win I get happy,” Wiggins said of how he managed mentally during his absences. “We're all looking out for each other, and when you're winning everything is good.”
