LCD Soundsystem, Boygenius and Steve Lacy are set to headline a new outdoor concert series dubbed Re:SET, which will travel to 12 cities in the U.S., including the Frost Amphitheater at Stanford.

Over the course of four weekends in June, four regions will host Re:SET, with each headliner playing consecutive days in each city. The headliners are also expected to curate their own lineup for their respective day, AEG Presents officials announced.

Boygenius plans to bring along indie standouts Clairo, Dijon and Bartees Strange; LCD Soundsystem will be touring with electronic artist Jamie xx, British rock band Idles, bounce music pioneer Big Freedia and others; and Steve Lacy is to focus on genrebending artists James Blake, Toro y Moi and Fousheé.

In addition to music, each venue will feature food and drinks from local restaurants, bars and breweries, highlighting the character and community of each town.

Re:SET is scheduled to hit the South Bay on June 2-4.

“We challenged ourselves to conceive an event that would give both the artists and the fans a different experience,” said Gary Gersh, president of global touring and talent at AEG Presents, which also produces the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

“At the end of the day, they both want the same thing: great locations, incredible sound, fantastic sight lines, and the best local options for food and drinks. Re:SET is a very fairly priced, artist-driven weekend where you can hang with friends and enjoy an evening of amazing music.”

Presale registration, where fans can sign up for early access tickets starting at $99.50, opened Tuesday, Jan. 31, at www.resetconcertseries.com.

General public ticket sales, with three-day admission starting at $250 and VIP festival passes starting at $650, begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10.
