#1 South Carolina pummels #3 LSU

LSU coach Kim Mulkey understand­s dominance and saw it again on Sunday.

“It’s South Carolina, in my opinion,” she said flatly, “and it’s everybody else.”

Kamilla Cardoso had 18 points and 13 rebounds, Zia Cooke scored 17 and the topranked Gamecocks (25-0, 12-0 SEC) beat the thirdranke­d Tigers (23-1, 11-1) 8864 in a showdown of the last two unbeaten teams.

The game was billed as a showcase between reigning AP player of the year Aliyah Boston (14 points, nine rebounds) and Angel Reese (16 points, four rebounds).

Alexis Morris led LSU with 23 points.

#5 Iowa 111, Rutgers 57: Molly Davis scored 17 points and Caitlin Clark added 15 points and 10 assists for the host Hawkeyes (20-5, 12-2 Big Ten).

#7 Utah 73, Washington St. 59: Alissa Pili scored 15 points and Gianna Kneepkens had 14 points and 12 rebounds as the host Utes (22-2, 12-2 Pac-12) won their seventh straight. Bella Murekatete led Washington State (16-9, 6-8) with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

#8 Maryland 82 Illinois 71:

Diamond Miller scored 31 points, and the host Terrapins (21-5, 12-3 Big Ten) rallied from an 11-point firsthalf deficit.

#9 Duke 50, Miami 40:

Reigan Richardson scored a season-high 14 points and the host Blue Devils (22-3, 12-2) used another strong defensive performanc­e to stay atop the ACC.

#10 Notre Dame 73, Syracuse 64: Kylee Watson scored 15 points and Olivia Miles had 13 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the host Irish (20-4, 11-3 ACC).

#11 Virginia Tech 84, #19 Florida State 70: Georgia Amoore scored 25 points and matched her career high with six 3-pointers as the host Hokies (20-4, 10-4 ACC) beat the Seminoles (20-7, 9-5).

#12 Michigan 80, Nebraska 75: Leigha Brown had 23 points and 10 assists to help the host Wolverines (20-5, 10-4 Big Ten) beat the team she played for in her first two seasons.

#14 North Carolina 73, Boston College 55: Redshirt freshman Kayla McPherson scored 22 points in her first start for the host Tar Heels (18-7, 9-5 ACC). #16 Oklahoma 85, Kansas State 68: Liz Scott finished with 20 points and eight rebounds as the visiting Sooners (20-4, 10-3) closed within a game of first-place Texas in the Big 12.

#18 UCLA 67, Oregon 57: Emily Bessoir hit four 3pointers and finished with 20 points as the host Bruins (19-6 Pac-12, 8-5) sent the Ducks (14-11, 5-9) to their fifth straight loss.

Virginia 71, #22 N.C. State 59: Taylor Valladay had 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as the host Cavaliers (15-11, 4-11) snapped a seven-game ACC losing streak. Jada Boyd led the Wolfpack (17-8, 7-7) with 22 points.

Houston 71, #24 South Florida 69: Laila Blair hit six 3-pointers and scored 30 points as the Cougars (10-13, 7-3) ended the 12-game winning streak of the host Bulls (22-5, 11-1 American Athletic).

#25 Colorado 65, Washington 43: Quay Miller had 17 points and 12 rebounds as the host Buffaloes (20-5, 11-3 Pac-12) beat the Huskies (1311, 5-9).
