The Golden State Warriors are signing former two-way contract forward Anthony Lamb to a standard NBA contract for the rest of the season, league sources confirmed to The Chronicle.

The Warriors are also signing G League guard Lester Quinones to a twoway deal using the roster spot made available by Lamb’s conversion. Lamb is playoff-eligible under his new contract.

Golden State’s decision comes just one day after it announced that veteran forward Andre Iguodala will undergo surgery for a left wrist fracture he suffered in Monday’s win over Phoenix. An update on his status will be provided after the procedure.

The Warriors originally signed Lamb to a twoway deal in October and he recently became ineligible after using up the 50 NBA games two-way players are allotted. In those games, he averaged 7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists while shooting 47.5% from the field and 37.9% from 3point range.

Head coach Steve Kerr called Lamb a player capable of “connecting” multiple lineups. He became a staple in the Warriors’ rotation because of the team’s numerous injuries and absences.

Quinones, 22, was signed to a 10-day contract on March 1 in a move to create more regularseason availability for Lamb and two-way contract player Ty Jerome. He didn’t appear in any games throughout the duration of his deal.

Golden State signed Quinones to a two-way contract ahead of summer league and training camp, then waived him one day before the team’s preseason finale in October. He has spent most of his rookie season playing for the Warriors’ G League affiliate in Santa Cruz and poured in a career-best 46-points in the team’s 132-129 win over the Salt Lake City Stars on Wednesday.

The Warriors have a full 15-man roster after Thursday’s moves. Jerome is eligible to play in three more regular-season games, while Quinones can appear in the final 12. Jerome and Quinones, however, are not eligible to play in the postseason.
