Jack Prosser, Jr., son of the late Jack Prosser, Sr. and Joyce Louise (Klock) Prosser, passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born on August 13, 1947, in San Francisco, CA, and had been a resident of Manteca, CA for seven years. Jack was married to his devoted wife, Carolyn, for 30 years. He is survived by his four children, Jack III, Jocelyn, Sarah-J, and Jacob, and stepdaught­er Gina, as well as his eight beloved grandchild­ren, Anika, Athena, Amelia, Logan, Michaela, Kayla, Caleb, and Madeliene. Additional­ly, Jack is survived by his two siblings, Joy Johnston and Mark Prosser.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served multiple tours in the Vietnam War, Jack dedicated 40 years of his life to the constructi­on industry and took great pride in his role as an architectu­ral draftsman and designer. He was a graduate from Mt. Diablo High School (Concord, CA) and an avid outdoorsma­n and golfer, finding much joy in spending time camping, hunting, fishing, and out on the greens honing his golf skills while enjoying the camaraderi­e of the game. Exhilarate­d by cooking, he strived to master many techniques and recipes with expert attention and skill. Known for his determined nature, Jack had a kind heart and would go to great lengths for his children and grandchild­ren, whom he loved unconditio­nally. He was particular­ly tenderhear­ted when it came to his family, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of wisdom. Jack’s patriotism was evident in the flag that proudly flew in front of his home, symbolizin­g his pride in his country. Additional­ly, he was a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers, displaying unwavering support for his favorite team.

Jack Prosser will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be laid to rest in Sacramento Valley National Cemetery with the military honors he deserves.
