Bea Wirth Jimenez, 86, of Santa Rosa, passed away on April 19, 2024, in Burlingame, Calif., surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 14, 1938, in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Bea, dedicated to her faith, was known for her generosity, kindness, and lively spirit. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a dedicated volunteer for her church for many years and was instrumental in reviving the church gift shop at St. Anne’s of the Sunset. She had a very polite disposition but wouldn’t hesitate to voice her opinion, especially if you made her vodka with water wrong. (That’s “still” water, NOT sparkling).

Bea worked at See’s Candies in Santa Rosa, primarily at Coddingtown, for over 20 years. She excelled as a manager and loved her job. She found joy in watching her grandkids when they were young, sharing meals with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandkids, and spending time with friends at Oakmont Gardens. She also loved spending time with her Lunch Bunch group. She lived in San Francisco for 30 years before moving back to Santa Rosa to be near her family, but her heart was always there. She loved The City. She also had many longtime friends she enjoyed sharing meals and going to the casino with. She was funny and youthful; nobody would ever know she was in her 80s, especially with her signature burgundy hair.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Anthony Wirth and Phil Jimenez.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Calmer; son-in-law, Ken Calmer; grandchildren, Kenny Houser, Mackenzie Houser Marvin (Josh), and Alex Calmer; as well as great-grandchildren, Elena Marvin, Xaeden Houser, and Camille Marvin. Bea is also survived by her brother, Charles Spalding; nephews; and many dear friends.

The family would like to thank Mills-Peninsula hospital for their amazing care of mom. You guys were amazing.

Services will be held at St. Anne’s of the Sunset, 850 Judah St., San Francisco at 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, May 2nd. Reception immediately following.

Contributions in Bea’s memory can be made to St. Anne’s of the Sunset.
