A historic oceanfront home in Bolinas, once a hub for members of Jefferson Airplane, is now on the market for just shy of $15 million.

The recently updated four-bedroom, four-bathroom property retains a unique feature from its past owners, Grace Slick and Paul Kantner of the San Francisco psychedelic rock band: a mosaic-tiled, guitar-shaped pool.

Located at 99 Brighton Ave. along the Marin County coastline, the hideaway boasts a 4,074square-foot home, built in 1920, on nearly an acre of land with 400 feet of beachfront. The property is listed for $14,995,000 by Kara and Paul Warrin of Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty.

Since 1998, the estate has been owned by Mark Talucci, chairman and cofounder of the Sak Group, a producer of hand-crafted bags, and his wife, Keri, the brand’s chief sustainability officer.

In its early years, Talucci told Mansion Global, the property served as a gathering spot for wealthy San Francisco residents who would arrive by ship. It has a rich history, having been a bathhouse, tea house, hotel, dance hall and casino before becoming a private residence.

In the 1960s, Susie Tompkins Buell, cofounder of Esprit de Corp and North Face, lived in the home with her family. Kantner and Slick purchased the house in 1970 and lived there with their daughter, China. They often invited friends like Jerry Garcia and David Crosby for jam sessions, according to the Sotheby’s listing.

The property, set on a private and gated plot of land, features manicured grounds, a flat yard, a hot tub, a sauna — and that pool.

All rooms offer dramatic ocean views, with expansive decks and patios overlooking the popular surfing destination below.

Additional features include a gated arched-stone entry, a two-car garage, an open floor plan with living and dining areas connected by a chef’s kitchen, a large recreational room with a built-in wet bar, an outdoor fire pit lounge and a Zen garden.
