“She lived, she loved, she laughed and left” peace­fully at home on Novem­ber 14th.

Sheila was pre­ceded in death by her beloved hus­band Bernard Maguire. A lov­ing mother of Su­san (Bren­dan) Fox, Bernard (Corinne) Maguire, Ann (Bren­dan) O’Ha­gan and Michael Maguire. De­voted Nana to her pre­cious grand­chil­dren, Martin, Nora, James and Teresa O’Ha­gan, Ai­dan and Anne Fox, Patrick, El­iz­a­beth and Colin Maguire.

Sheila was the car­ing daugh­ter of Patrick and Mae Mur­phy of County Cork, Ire­land. She is sur­vived by her broth­ers Derry, Bill, Kieran and Des­mond and her sis­ters in law, Vir­ginia Slevin, Rita, Nuala and Pa­tri­cia Mur­phy and her many nieces and neph­ews who loved Aunt Sheila dearly.

Born and raised in San Fran­cisco, Sheila was a grad­u­ate of Star of the Sea Academy ‘53. She mar­ried her hus­band in 1960, had a fam­ily and soon af­ter moved to San Rafael/North­bridge where life-long mem­o­ries were made.

We would like to ex­tend spe­cial af­fec­tion and grat­i­tude to her loyal and faith­ful care­taker, Mele Ako­teu and the staff at Hos­pice by the Bay, es­pe­cially Jill Bar­kee.
