Annual quilt show set for Feb. 22-23

Pajaro Valley Quilt Association’s 42nd annual Quilt Show and live auction is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 22 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds, 2601 E. Lake Ave., Watsonville. Highlights to the annual show include:

• More than 300 quilts on display plus exhibits of wearable art, totes, pincushions, and more.

• A fashion show at 2 p.m. Feb. 22

• Local fabric artist Meri Vahli is a featured speaker at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 22

• A live quilt auction is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Feb. 23.

• Quilting and needlework demonstrations.

• Bed turning showcasing vintage quilts and their stories.

• Event includes more than 30 vendors and bargain garden and flea market.

Parking is free and a shuttle is available. Lunch and snacks will also be available for purchase.
