In recall, councilmen blamed for homelessness

The recall election is a lynching, attempting to remove Councilmen Drew Glover and Chris Krohn for policy matters, not actions on their part. The so- called discourtesies, and discourtesies of other council members, should have been handled by the City Manager, not in a $18,000 report. Glover and Krohn are blamed for the homeless problem, but the real culprits are the conservative council members who ruled for the past 16 years and did little or nothing for the homeless and made the problem worse. No, Glover and Krohn are being lynched because they are in favor of low cost housing so people who work here can live here. The list of financial contributors supporting the recall campaign is flooded with developers and real estate interests who want to cover Santa Cruz with high cost housing for Silicon Valley part time residents.
