Prisons and Poetics reading set Jan. 26
Award-winning American poet Reginald Dwayne Betts and renowned social psychologist Craig Haney are joined by moderator Gina Dent, associate professor of feminist studies at UC Santa Cruz, for a poetry reading and conversation from 4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday in an online event.
Prisons and Poetics is free and open to the public. The event is part of the Institute of the Arts and Science’s Visualizing Abolition series and The Humanities Institute’s yearlong theme, Memory.
