VSCC accepts board nominations

Visit Santa Cruz County is now accepting nominations for its board of directors, according to a release from the organization.

Visit Santa Cruz County is governed by a 25-member board of directors comprised of representatives of various regions of the county, 13 lodging seats and a crosssection of representatives of businesses, cultural, governmental and organizations with affiliation to the travel and tourism industry.

Responsibilities include participation in the governance of the organization, general advocacy for the tourism industry, and active participation at board meetings held six times per year. Board terms are two years in length and begin with the new fiscal year on July 1.

The Visit Santa Cruz County Nominating Task Force will review all nominees for board seats. To download an application form, visit santacruz.org. For information about serving as a board member, email dharris@santacruz.org. The deadline to submit nomination forms is March 16.
