Funk band, Superbloom will be playing a show in Moe’s Alley’s new outdoor space. Superbloom is an American psychedeli­c rock band from Santa Cruz.

Food trucks will be on site. Masks must be worn when entering the inside of Moe’s Alley.

Join the Santa Cruz Comedy Festival for an afternoon of outdoor comedy at the Laurel Park in downtown Santa Cruz, located adjacent to the Louden Nelson Center. Kellen Erskine will be the headlining comic.

Erskine has appeared on Conan, Jimmy Kimmel, NBC’s America’s Got Talent and the Amazon Original Series Inside Jokes. He has been a finalist of both the San Francisco Internatio­nal Comedy Competitio­n and the Great American Comedy Festival; he has also performed at the Bridgetown, Big Sky, and Boston Comedy Festivals.

This event takes place in a grassy field, so please bring beach chairs and blankets. Recommende­d for ages 16+

‘WHAT REMAINS’ AT RADIUS GALLERY

Wednesday, noon to 5 p.m.

“What Remains” is an exhibition of the California Associatio­n of Clay and Glass Artists demonstrat­ing the depth and process of the medium, a narrative of what has been left behind or destroyed, or a response to the climate crisis and cultural changes.

With over 40 original works of art, exhibitors present utilitaria­n, sculptural, narrative, figurative and installati­on pieces. The exhibition runs from Aug. 4 until Sept. 12.

The gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 5 p.m..

VIRTUAL SEEKING SAFETY SUPPORT GROUP

Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This drop-in session discusses coping with trauma, based on the curriculum “Seeking Safety” that was originally developed for substance recovery. All survivors in recovery are invited to attend, but being in recovery is not required. For survivors of all genders and ages.
