Santa Cruz BOARDWALK BITES AND BREWS FOOD FESTIVAL

Thursday and Friday, 4-8 p.m. Every Thursday and Friday until Nov. 19, breweries from across the bay area will be accessible at the Boardwalk. The beers will be paired with different food options each week curated by the Boardwalk’s private event chef Scott Meyer.

Born out of a desire to showcase the strong, adventurous women of the outdoor world, the She Adventure Film Tour presents a curated selection of short films that will entertain and enlighten.

Santa Cruz DEVENDRA BANHART AT THE RIO THEATRE

Doors: 7 p.m., Show: 8 p.m. Devendra Banhart will be playing an all ages show at Rio Theatre on Oct. 14.

Felton ROARING CAMP: HARVEST FAIRE AND STEAM FESTIVAL

Oct. 23 and Oct. 24

Step into the incredible world of steam power at the Harvest Faire and Steam Festival presented by Kinetic Steam Works and Roaring Camp Railroads.

There will be children’s activities like scarecrow making, pumpkin patch picking, candle making and gold panning. A variety of steam and belt-powered equipment will be on display.
