Shelter holds rabbit adoption special

Because of an abundance of rabbits being surrendered, the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is holding a rabbit adoption special.

Through the end of February, rabbits will be available for adoption for $22.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip (including registration), routine treatment for fleas/ worms, and a free pet wellness exam with a local participating veterinarian. In addition, all rabbits adopted during this time will go home in a carrier.
