Praise for series on Monterey Bay sanctuary

Many thanks to the Sentinel for running the current series on the history of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. For the many people who have moved to the area in the last 30 years, this may be their first introduction to the events, political activism, and leadership that led to the sanctuary's establishment.

And for all of us who regularly say “we are so lucky to live here,” it is a good reminder that taking care of “paradise” requires a lot of work by a lot of dedicated people. A heartfelt “thank you” to all of them!
