A ‘SICK COMEDY’ NIGHT IN STORE

Desert Academy’s Performing Arts Department presents an evening of student sketch comedy and improvisation — called Sick Comedy — at 7 p.m. Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7, at Warehouse 21, 1614 Paseo de Peralta. The sketch material in the show came out of classroom improvisation sessions. Among the planned pieces in the show is an all-male version of The View, a visit from Hillary Clinton, an Indian guru who offers advice and the debut of the boy band Boyz 2 Gurlz, who will offer an improvised pop song for the audience.

Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults and are available at the door.
