Arrow One of The CW’s top directors of its superhero series, Rookie Blue and Everwood acting alum Gregory Smith called the shots on the new episode “Reversal,” which again shows Oliver (Stephan Amell) that any relatively peaceful time he has isn’t destined to last. The fly in the ointment this time? Black Siren (Katie Cassidy), who threatens Star City yet again.

Life in Pieces Did newlywed Colleen (Angelique Cabral, pictured) survive that fall from a hotel balcony? The actress is still among the regular cast members as Season 3 of this comedy series opens, so there’s your answer — but that’s not to say the character is necessaril­y ambulatory as the new short stories start with “Settlement Pacifier Attic Unsyncing.” Thomas Sadoski returns as her husband, Matt, in an ensemble that also includes James Brolin, Dianne Wiest, Colin Hanks and Betsy Brandt.

S.W.A.T. A 1970s action series gets a modern sheen with the premiere of this reboot starring Criminal Minds alum Shemar Moore as Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, the leader of an elite Los Angeles police squad that uses special weapons and tactics to combat crime. He’s often conflicted as he deals with cases on the streets were he grew up. The “Pilot” for the show — whose executive producers include Shawn Ryan ( The Shield) — also features Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Stephanie Sigman ( Spectre) and Kenny Johnson.
