Manzana, Santa Fe What makes this house special is a line of lights that line the entrance. The little bulbs look something like a cross between a snowman and an elf. They flicker different colors and add a playful feel to the yard, already decorated with lights on the roof and fence. RED AND WREATHS 600 block of Salazar St., Santa Fe Classic white light wreaths adorn the fences and the drive of this house, set in contrast to a bright red tree and lovely ice-white icycle lights. A classy, yet modern holiday display. ASTRAL PROJECTION 600 block of Cortez St., Santa Fe What makes this house special isn’t the house — in fact, you can barely see the house beyond a classic New Mexico fence. The fence is adorned in lovely looping colorful lights, but the real treat is a front yard tree that twinkles with green sparkles. They look like thousands of twinkling green fairies in the tree. From a giant blow up air balloon to Santa in his sleigh and a star sparkling from the roof. If large-scale displays are your cup of tea, this yard might take the cake in Santa Fe. WREALLY WREATHED 400 block of Alejandro St., Santa Fe A pristine arrangemen­t of blue string lights and red wreaths matches the splendid colorful icicle lights decorating the house behind. As an added touch, the icycles cast colorful haloes on the house behind HALLOWEEN MEETS CHRISTMAS Camino del Monte Sol and Poniente, Santa Fe While traditiona­l farolitos line the adobe walls, what sticks out here is the leafless tree decked out in orange lights. CHRISTMAS SPECTACULA­R 600 block of Agua Fria St., Santa Fe Santa rides in on his reindeer, bringing with him a special guest in the back of his sleigh -- baby Jesus. The giant North Star hung from the top of the house lights up the nativity not only for Mary and Joseph, but for all those who pass by. DO THEY KNOW IT’S CHRISTMAS? 200 block of Sabino St., Santa Fe Do They Know It’s Christmas? In the 200 block of Sabino Street they do, but perhaps the neighbors don’t since this is the only home lit up on the entire street. While it might not look light much, this house brings both holiday cheer and a pop of color to the dimly-lit street. HERE COMES SANTA CLAUS 300 block of Alejandro St., Santa Fe Where is Santa hiding? In the 300 block of Alejandro St.! While he’s not easily seen behind the six-foot fence, you’ll have to head down to the very end of Alejandro Street to see Santa early. Traditiona­l colors light the rest of the house for a simply, yet classy look. WINTER WONDERLAND 4200 block of Vegas de Suenos, Santa Fe Inflatable figures, light-up trees and enough icicles lights to make you go brrr.
