In the last scheduled episode of the series, “The Tipping Point,” Alex (Monica Potter) is present as Carlos Ochoa (guest star Ramses Jimenez) — who was arrested for Mia’s murder — has his hearing for his possible release. Cavanaugh (Richard T. Jones) probes a homicide in which the victim was a conspiracy theorist who used Sophe frequently. Jeremy Piven, Natalia Tena, Blake Lee and Jake Matthews also star.

7 p.m. on HMM Movie: Past Malice: An Emma Fielding Mystery

Best known for his work on such TV series as Cheers and Boston Legal, Emmy winner Phoef Sutton adapted a novel by Dana Cameron for this second installmen­t in the Emma Fielding

Mystery TV movie franchise. Courtney Thorne-Smith returns to her title role as archaeolog­ist and occasional sleuth Emma Fielding, whose work at an allegedly cursed castle is interrupte­d by the discovery of a colleague’s corpse. James Tupper also returns as Emma’s friend, FBI Special Agent Jim Conner.

8 p.m. on TLC Seeking Sister Wife

Apparently there is no Tinder app for polygamist­s — yet — but this new series follows three families who are in various phases of searching for, dating and then bringing a new sister wife into their complicate­d family lives. Ashley and Dimitri Snowden, a black Atlanta couple, are seeking a woman who wants to have children, while the Alldredges, a fundamenta­list Mormon clan, are looking for a third sister wife. The Brineys, meanwhile, are experienci­ng some major bumps in their existing family dynamics.

8:30 p.m. on FOX The Last Man on Earth

In the story that serves as the comedy’s winter finale, “Paint Misbehavin’,” Karl (guest star Fred Armisen) meets everyone in the group of survivors. That’s except for Jasper, who suddenly has vanished, sending the others on a desperate search. Will Forte, Kristen Schaal, January Jones, Mary Steenburge­n and Cleopatra Coleman star.

11 p.m. on HBO Divorce

Robert and Frances (Thomas Haden Church, pictured, Sarah Jessica Parker) finally have signed divorce papers as Season 2 of this tart comedy opens with “Night Moves.” Frances is struggling with insomnia and a realizatio­n that things with her kids are suddenly more complicate­d, while Robert, who’s having a severe cash-flow problem, looks for work and a new place to live. A new communicat­ion technique Diane and Nick (Molly Shannon, Tracy Letts) have adopted leads Nick to an unexpected decision.
