6 p.m. on TNT 2018 NBA All-Star Saturday Night

With Sunday’s NBA All-Star Game on the horizon in Los Angeles, the stage is set for the All-Stars to show their swagger in what is called All-Star Saturday night. The skills challenge features ball handling skills, while the three-point shooting contest challenges players to consistent­ly hit long shots from various places on the court. Then it’s the coveted slam-dunk contest where judges decide just how effective the NBA’s best are at dunking.

7 p.m. on BBCA Planet Earth: Blue Planet II

The “slow motion” underwater world is actually bustling with competitio­n for food, as the new episode “Green Seas” vividly illustrate­s. Vast kelp forests thrive under the sun’s rays from the surface, but a common octopus must master the tools of a great escape artist to elude its chief nemesis, the pajama shark. Elsewhere, a Garibaldi fish forms an instinctua­l alliance with sea otters to fend off marauding sea urchins from its seaweed garden.

7 p.m. on HALL Movie: Wedding March 3: Here Comes the Bride

Jack Wagner and Josie Bissett, pictured, reprise their now-familiar roles as college sweetheart­s Mick and Olivia, who now run a wedding resort together in this third entry in the romantic comedy movie franchise. The Inn is expecting a full house on Valentine’s Day weekend, as both of the couple welcome various family members and prospectiv­e in-laws. Comic chaos ensues, though, when Mick’s daughter announces her plans to drop out of college, while his sister is moving ahead with her own wedding plans.

8 p.m. on USA Falling Water

Sabine (Brittany Allen), the older sister of Tess (Lizzie Brochere), begins to show symptoms that suggest she is falling apart in a new episode called “Love Is a Dreamer.” Meanwhile, Taka and Alex (Will Yun Lee, Sepideh Moafi) pay a visit to Shadowman’s family, and Burton (David Ajala) struggles with his increasing guilt. Bennett puts out a contract on Woody (Kai Lennox).

9 p.m. on HBO Movie: The House

Amy Poehler and Will Ferrell rolled snake eyes with this 2017 comedy, in which they star as Scott and Kate Johansen, who are forced to take desperate measures when a scholarshi­p for their daughter (Ryan Simpkins) falls through. Scott and Kate team up with a neighbor (Jason Mantzoukas) who lets them start an illegal casino in his basement. Despite a cast that also includes Nick Kroll and Allison Tolman, critics tore apart the thin script and the movie flopped at the global box office.
