If there’s any question of the care that’s taken with endangered species in certain cases, “The Last Rhino” supplies bountiful evidence. The last male northern white rhino (pictured) certainly is well-protected, kept under an around-the-clock armed guard in a sanctuary in Kenya. How he came to be the last of his kind is considered during the hour, as are thoughts of the possible future of his kind — and the cost entailed in keeping him safe and alive.
7 p.m. on LIFE Little Women: Atlanta
In the new episode “Cover Girls,” Juicy takes a major risk when she hires Sam to do her makeup for her first magazine cover shoot. Minnie tries to decide whether she should forgive Andrea and attend her baby shower. Elsewhere, Monie finally gets Morlin on board with her desire to have a baby, only to realize that maybe things are moving too quickly given the major commitment involved.
8 p.m. on ID Homicide City
Philadelphia may be known as the City of Brotherly Love, but there was a time in its history when police detectives had to handle around 400 homicide cases every year. This new true-crime series revisits that darker time and the cases that still haunt the survivors today. In the series premiere, “A Manager’s Murder,” a Philadelphia restaurant manager is murdered at work, five months before his wedding. Witnesses left tied up at the scene can offer few concrete details to detectives.
8:45 p.m. on NBCSN 2018 Winter Olympics
The Canadian women’s hockey team has won the Olympic gold medal four straight times, dating back to the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Three of those times their opponent in the gold medal game has been the United States, who beat the Canadians for gold in 1998 in Nagano in the first women’s hockey Olympic tournament. Odds are good for another rematch.

The game show revival’s winter finale includes a very notable presence with RuPaul among the celebrity players trying to help contestants win $25,000. Leah Remini, Amy Sedaris, Niecy Nash and Saturday Night
Live alums Tim Meadows and Horatio Sanz are the others attempting to make matches in the blank spaces in phrases. Alec Baldwin, also an executive producer here, is the host.
