6 p.m. on FOOD Comfort Food Tour

Co-hosts Mark Anderson, pictured left, and Ryan Fey, pictured right, return for Season 2 of this delightful half-hour series, in which the duo toss calorie-related concerns out the window as they go in search of simply prepared but amazingly yummy dishes. In the season premiere, “Tex-Mex to the Max,” Mark and Ryan visit The Original Ninfa’s on Navigation, home to the very first fajita served in America; At Moo and Brew, a burger throwdown finds the pair in Miami. Another new episode follows.

6 p.m. on NICK Kids’ Choice Sports 2018

From the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif., Chris Paul, point guard of the Houston Rockets, hosts the only awards show that features both sports stars and slime, with winners selected by young fans via online voting. Athletes are nominated in traditional categories, such as favorite male and female athletes, and less traditional ones such as king and queen of swag, which honors stars who “do incredible things but also look incredible while they’re doing it.” Naturally, figure skater Adam Rippon is a nominee.

6 p.m. on TCM Leonard Bernstein’s Young People’s Concerts

The weekend salute to the movie and television work of legendary composer-conductor Leonard Bernstein — marking the centennial of his birth — continues with several now rarely seen episodes of his widely acclaimed series in which he explained various aspects of music in a manner intended for young viewers. In the first offering, “What Does Music Mean?,” he uses classical works by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Ravel and other greats to explain how some music is meant as storytelling.

7 p.m. on AP The Secret Life of the Zoo

This engaging new — and extremely family-friendly — documentary series is filmed at England’s popular Chester Zoo and highlights the unusually close relationship between the facility’s animals and their human keepers. The first episode, “New Arrival,” spotlights the zoo’s Asian elephant family, particularly its grumpy matriarch, Thi. Her outof-sorts mood is understandable, since she’s been pregnant for nearly two years. As she reaches her due date, her humans keep a close watch on her, since she previously delivered a stillborn baby.

8:30 p.m. on CBS Living Biblically

It seemed for a while that this comedy might not get a proper send-off, since it was pulled from its original time slot before all the episodes had aired. However, it makes its official exit here with the last story filmed, as “David and Goliath” finds Chip (Jay R. Ferguson) trying to get Mrs. Meadows (Camryn Manheim) reinstated after she’s fired. He only succeeds in getting himself dismissed, too — turning him into the David who goes up against the Goliath represented by corporate bigwigs.
