Woman in suit claims couple harassed her after affair

A Santa Fe massage therapist is suing a former Los Alamos National Laboratory employee and his wife, saying the couple harassed her after she had an affair with the man without knowing he was married.

Lauren Sicre recently filed the suit in state District Court. She stated in her complaint that she met Cameron Manderson on the dating app Tinder in the winter of 2017, and he implied he was single.

Manderson told her he was married and his wife was pregnant only after they became intimate, Sicre claimed in the complaint.

She also said Manderson told his wife about the affair and gave her Sicre’s name, address and place of employment, according to the lawsuit.

Sicre said Manderson and his wife then posted defamatory comments about her on her employer’s website and other social media websites.

In addition, Sicre says she was confronted by her employer, lost clients and began receiving salacious communications from others who saw her contact information in postings, the lawsuit says.

She said the couple’s harassment caused her “severe emotional and economic harm.” She is seeking an unspecified amount of compensatory and punitive damages.

Santa Fe Police Department records show Sicre reported her claims of online harassment to police. She said several strangers also showed up at her house as a result of comments the couple posted about her online.

According to the records, Manderson also told police in February that someone had egged his home and left a note. The report did not say what the note said.

LANL spokesman Kevin Roark confirmed Manderson was once an employee of the lab but declined to provide his job title, employment dates or salary.

The Mandersons did not respond to messages seeking comment.
