7 p.m. on ABC The Gong Show

The reboot of the decidedly offbeat game show ends its second season as Ken Jeong (Community), Chelsea Peretti

(Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect) form the celebrity panel judging the unusual acts that take the stage. For the program’s sophomore round, no secret has been made that host “Tommy Maitland” actually is Mike Myers — which many people guessed during the first season anyway.

7 p.m. on FOOD The Great Food Truck Race

No pressure, final three teams, but the new episode “First Dates” finds them arriving in Coachella Valley, just 24 hours ahead of thousands of country music fans looking forward to a huge festival. And Tyler Florence, pictured, throws down a challenge none of them could have anticipated: creating and selling a dish that incorporates Medjool dates. Don’t worry: He gives them a crash course in these dates beforehand, but date growers Albert Keck and Melinda Dougherty help decide which two teams move on to the finals.

7 p.m. on USA Queen of the South

Roughly half of Season 3 has unfolded in the Southwestern part of the United States, but in a new episode ominously titled “La Muerte” — which means “death” in Spanish — Teresa (Alice Braga) returns to Bolivia. It’s certainly not nostalgia that motivates her trip, either: Her mission, which will involve putting her life at risk, is intended to prove that she is still loyal to the very dangerous El Santo (recurring guest star Steven Bauer).

8 p.m. on NBC Trial & Error

The court won’t be in session much longer for the good folks of East Peck, S.C., as this off-the-wall comedy wraps its second season with two back-to-back episodes. As the first of those signals with its title — “A Break” — Josh (Nicholas D’Agosto) and his team think they’ve finally got an ironclad defense for their screwball client (Kristin Chenoweth), thanks to Jesse Ray Beaumont (Michael Hitchcock). The season finale follows.

9 p.m. on MTV Jersey Shore: Family Vacation

The two-hour Season 2 premiere of this hit reality series opens with the familiar housemates — Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie OrtizMagro — in Las Vegas, but the action soon shifts back to New Jersey, where the group plans to enjoy a weekend in Atlantic City. Here on their old stomping grounds, they reminisce about their glory days, but soon find themselves back in the tabloids.
