Checking in with LORI LOUGHLIN

-

If December isn’t Lori Loughlin Month on television, it’s hard to prove. With a new Hallmark Channel movie – “Homegrown Christmas,” also featuring her eldest daughter, Bella Giannulli – playing through the holidays, the home-screen staple’s fourth season of Netflix’s “Fuller House” debuts Friday, Dec. 14. Then, Loughlin reappears in Hallmark in what has become an annual tradition: a Christmas edition of “When Calls the Heart” (on the most appropriate date, Dec. 25) that precedes that series’ next season. The return of “Fuller House” comes soon after an occasion that reaffirmed the family feeling among the sitcom’s cast members: the wedding of Bob Saget, alias the show’s Danny Tanner. “Oh, my gosh, it was so special,” the pleasant Loughlin says. “It was nice to see Bob in this very happy, safe place and really in love. The wedding was elegant, and (his new wife) Kelly looked beautiful. “Bob is great friends with John Mayer,” adds Loughlin, “and John got up with his guitar and sang a couple of songs, which was such a treat. It was just lovely.” The ceremony was officiated by actor Jonathan Silverman (“Weekend at Bernie’s”), who Loughlin reports is “another longtime friend of Bob’s. It just had really nice touches like that, and it was a really special celebration.” Attendees also included Loughlin’s “husband” on “Fuller House,” John Stamos, who became a firsttime father this year. “I couldn’t be more in love with that child,” Loughlin enthuses. “Honestly, I would move in with them if they’d let me! That baby is so precious; he’s just the happiest little guy. I think that his whole life, (Stamos) has waited for the woman of his dreams, and he’s waited for this little boy to enter his world. I just don’t think he can even believe his entire fantasy and dream has come true.” Birthdate: July 28, 1964 Birthplace: Queens, N.Y.
